51st International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva
At the 51st International Exhibition Inventions Geneva, LSCM won a gold medal, 3 silver medals, and a bronze medal with the Centre’s satellite, locationing and robotics technologies. The “AI Large Language Model – Powered Remote Sensing Satellite System for Near-Real-Time Disaster Monitoring” developed in collaboration with The Chinese University of Hong Kong was awarded a gold medal. Three of the silver medals were awarded to LSCM’s robotics technologies, namely the "Multi-Robot Collaborated Object Transportation System", the "Voice-Controlled Mobile Manipulator Powered by Large Language Model”, and the "Smart Lock Application and Devices for Confidential Document Tracking in the Greater Bay Area". And the "Personalised Chatbot for Elderly Companions" was awarded a bronze medal.
The LSCM team is thrilled to have received the recognition in the exhibition again this year and will continue our efforts in fostering collaboration among the government, industry, academia, and research institutes to develop more innovative technologies and promote technology adoption.

Regional Conference on Smart Customs
LSCM participated in the Regional Conference on Smart Customs to showcase the Port Community System (PCS) and E-lock developed by the Centre which could help enhance customs efficiency, security, and facilitate seamless cross-border operations. At the event, distinguished guests including Mr Tang Ping-keung, Secretary for Security, and Mr Chan Tsz-tat, Commissioner of Customs and Excise, visited the LSCM booth to learn about the Centre’s advanced technologies. Mr Stephen WAI, Senior Business Development Director of LSCM, delivered a presentation that introduced the Centre’s technologies which were developed to enhance cross-boundary logistics efficiency and facilitate trade.

Port Community System (PCS) Rollout Ceremony
The Transport and Logistics Bureau (TLB) and LSCM organised the PCS Roll-out Ceremony, marking the official launch of the PCS. The ceremony was officiated by Ms Mable CHAN, Secretary for Transport and Logistics, Mr Vic YAU, Permanent Secretary for Transport and Logistics , Miss Amy CHAN, Commissioner for Maritime and Port Development, Captain Hon Lothair LAM, Legislative Council Member, Mr Frankie YICK, member of the Hong Kong Maritime and Port Development Board, Ir Prof Alan LAM, Chairman of the LSCM Board of Directors, and Mr Simon WONG, Chief Executive Officer of LSCM.
At the event, Transport and Logistics Bureau, LSCM, and FUNDel Limited signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) which signifies the collaboration among the three organisations to accelerate the integration of the PCS with logistics industry information platforms and explore the use of trusted cargo-flow data within the PCS to assist financial institutions in evaluating trade finance assessments of logistics SMEs.

Airspace Asia Pacific 2025
The Airspace Asia Pacific 2025 organised by Civil Air Navigation Services Organisation on 9 - 11 December 2025 brought the region’s air traffic management and aviation community together in Hong Kong for its inaugural edition. At the event, LSCM showcased the AI-assisted UWB Locationing and Obstacle Avoidance System Using Video Analytics for LAE (Landing / Take-off Operations) which supports future LAE deployment, regulatory sandbox testing, and scalable commercial drone operations, paving the way for safer and more reliable UAV missions.

5th Asia Exhibition of Innovations and Inventions Hong Kong
The 5th Asia Exhibition of Innovations and Inventions Hong Kong organised by the Hong Kong Exporters’ Association (HKEA) and Palexpo, Geneva took place on 4 - 5 December 2025. This year, LSCM garnered three awards at the event with the Centre’s smart city and robotics technologies.
The LSCM team is excited to have gained the international recognition again for its expertise in technology R&D and will continue to work closely with our partners, pooling the strengths of different sectors to develop more innovative technologies and facilitate Hong Kong’s smart city development and industry digitalisation!

Hong Kong ICT Awards 2025
At the Hong Kong ICT Awards 2025 organised by Digital Policy Office of the Government of the HKSAR, LSCM was excited to have received the Certificate of Merit with three technologies developed in collaboration with the government, industry and the academia. The award-winning technologies covered the areas of smart mobility, construction, and digital entertainment.
Established in 2006, the HKICT Awards is one of the most recognised and longest-standing information technology awards in Hong Kong. The awards honoured the outstanding achievement of LSCM in technology R&D. The LSCM team is committed to pursing excellence in technology development with an aim to enhancing the quality of life of the community and the efficiency of various industries.
