HKPC LogTech Expo 2025
LSCM participated in the LOGTECH Expo 2025 on 19 Sept to showcase the Centre’s latest logistics technologies. The expo aims to keep the SMEs abreast of the latest technological trends in the industry, encouraging the development of the industry towards smart and green logistics.   At the expo, LSCM showcased the Port Community System developed under the initiative of the Transport and Logistics Bureau. Dr Frank Tong, Director of Research & Technology Development, also introduced this data-smart infrastructure and inter-organisational software platform which facilitates the sharing of port and logistics information within the port community, at the presentation session.

Belt & Road Summit 2025
Organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), the Belt and Road Summit 2025 was held on 10 – 11 September 2025, serving as a key international platform for business collaboration along the Belt and Road.   At the event, LSCM showcased the Port Community System (PCS), explaining to the visitors how it could support smarter and more connected logistics operations, thereby enhancing the competitiveness of the industry and Hong Kong's status as an international maritime centre.

Dialogue with CEO 2025
Logistics and Supply Chain MultiTech R&D Centre (LSCM) continues its commitment to nurturing future innovators through its internship programme and over 60 interns from diverse local and international academic institutions joined this year which brings fresh perspectives and energy to ongoing research and development initiatives. With a view to strengthen the communication between interns and Centre’s senior management, LSCM continues to organize the “Dialogue with CEO” event on 15 August 2025. Mr Simon Wong and his Senior Management Leaders shared valuable experiences and knowledge about the future technology development. Simon also shared insights into the evolving landscape of innovation and technology, highlighting LSCM’s role in empowering young talent to contribute to impactful Research & Development projects. He encouraged all interns to embrace challenges, pursue their passions, and set clear career goals. The event left a lasting impression on the interns who expressed a strong interest in continuing their journey in LSCM after graduation. The BOC Life 10th Golden Age Expo and Summit
Organised by the Golden Age Foundation, the 10th Golden Age Expo & Summit took place from 31 July 2025 to 2 August 2025. It offered a platform for showcasing the latest technology, innovative products and services in the elderly services industry.   Echoing this year’s theme “A Decade of Innovation: From Silver to Gold” , LSCM  showcased the MaxBot (Multi-Area-eXpandable Robot) and Electronic Power Assist Trolley System which could help the workers in the elderly services industry transport heavy items more efficiently and easily at the event. Through the interactive demonstrations, the visitors learned about how these innovative technologies could benefit the elderly services industry and enhance the quality of life of the seniors.

HKMA Data Summit 2025
  LSCM participated in the HKMA Data Summit 2025 co-organised by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) and The Hong Kong Association of Banks on 28 July 2025 to showcase the Port Community System (PCS) developed in collaboration with the Transport and Logistics Bureau. The PCS fosters the smart port development in Hong Kong, as well as the digitalisation of logistics and trade finance, strengthening Hong Kong’s position as an international hub for shipping, trade, and finance.

Japan International Trade Fair for Occupational Safety & Health + Well-being (JIOSH+W)
The Japan International Trade Fair for Occupational Safety & Health + Well-being (JIOSH+W) was held at the OSAKA Expo 2025 from 16 to 19 Jul 2025 in Japan,  showcasing the latest smart technologies for occupational safety and health. At the exhibition, LSCM demonstrated the Electronic Power Assist Trolley System and Detachable Follow-me Robot to the visitors. Both technologies could help to effectively  enhance the efficiency and safety in transporting heavy and bulky items in the workplace.
