5th Asia Exhibition of Innovations and Inventions Hong Kong
The 5th Asia Exhibition of Innovations and Inventions Hong Kong organised by the Hong Kong Exporters’ Association (HKEA) and Palexpo, Geneva took place on 4 - 5 December 2025. This year, LSCM garnered three awards at the event with the Centre’s smart city and robotics technologies.   The LSCM team is excited to have gained the international recognition again for its expertise in technology R&D and will continue to work closely with our partners, pooling the strengths of different sectors to develop more innovative technologies and facilitate Hong Kong’s smart city development and industry digitalisation!

Port Community System x LSCM Maritime Summit 2025
At the Asian Logistics, Maritime and Aviation Conference (ALMAC) hosted by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), LSCM organised the “Port Community System x LSCM Maritime Summit 2025” and “Hong Kong Belt and Road Low-Altitude Economy Cooperation Conference 2025” on 18 November 2025, gathering the government officials and industry leaders to explore the Port Community System (PCS) and innovative technologies that are fostering the development of the logistics and maritime industry. The event also examined the emerging low-altitude economy (LAE) in Hong Kong and in the Belt and Road countries, assisting the industry to seize the new opportunities for development.

LSCM Logistics Summit 2025
Logistics and Supply Chain MultiTech R&D Centre (LSCM)’s signature annual event, LSCM Logistics Summit 2025, concluded as a resounding success at Hong Kong Science Park. Centred around the theme of “Port Community System: Steering Innovation and Collaboration in Logistics”, the Summit served as a key platform for the industry to exchange ideas and views. The event focused on the development of the Port Community System (PCS), examining how innovative technologies could enhance collaboration in logistics and help the industry respond to the rapidly changing market demands and challenges, whilst seizing the emerging opportunities. LSCM also showcased its cutting-edge technologies at the exhibition. Key highlights included the “Port Community System (PCS)”, “Po Shan Groundwater Regulation System”, “Multi-Robot Collaborated Object Transportation System”, and the project “Protecting the Ecological Environment in Construction Areas with an AIoT System”,etc. Other technologies developed in collaboration of LSCM and its partner organisations were also showcased at the event, aiming to foster technology adoption to enhance industry efficiency, sustainability, and competitiveness. During the Summit, LSCM also signed Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with the government department and several leading industry organisations to further advance technology R&D and collaboration for key technologies for cross-border logistics and Smart City development.

ECO Expo Asia 2025
In LSCM’s first participation in the Eco Expo Asia 2025 co-organised by the Environment and Ecology Bureau of the Government of the HKSAR and Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) on 28 – 31 Oct 2025, the latest green technologies of the Centre were showcased.  The theme of the event was “Green Innovations for Carbon Neutrality”, aiming to promote green innovations and foster the adoption of green technologies by different sectors.  LSCM showcased the Air-Conditioning Water Dripping Inspection System, Outdoor IoT Sensing Network and Data Management Platform for Tree Management and the project “Protecting the Ecological Environment in Construction Areas with an AloT System” at the exhibition. These technologies were developed to assist the industry in improving efficiency and enhancing sustainability.

GS1 Hong Kong Summit 2025
The GS1 Hong Kong Summit 2025 aimed to boost the competitiveness of Hong Kong enterprises through driving digitalisation. At the Summit, LSCM showcased the Port Community System (PCS) which was designed and developed to foster the digital transformation of the port community and enhance cross-sector information interconnectivity.

Dialogue with CEO 2025
Logistics and Supply Chain MultiTech R&D Centre (LSCM) continues its commitment to nurturing future innovators through its internship programme and over 60 interns from diverse local and international academic institutions joined this year which brings fresh perspectives and energy to ongoing research and development initiatives. With a view to strengthen the communication between interns and Centre’s senior management, LSCM continues to organize the “Dialogue with CEO” event on 15 August 2025. Mr Simon Wong and his Senior Management Leaders shared valuable experiences and knowledge about the future technology development. Simon also shared insights into the evolving landscape of innovation and technology, highlighting LSCM’s role in empowering young talent to contribute to impactful Research & Development projects. He encouraged all interns to embrace challenges, pursue their passions, and set clear career goals. The event left a lasting impression on the interns who expressed a strong interest in continuing their journey in LSCM after graduation.
