To contribute the community services, LSCM joined and sponsored the “Barrier Busters 2023”, a fund-raising event as organized by the Hong Kong Society for Rehabilitation, on December 17, 2023, in AIA Vitality Park, Central. Such outdoor event aimed to provide participants the experiences of engaging with some disabled people. The staff participants simulated various types of disabilities under various conditions such as visual impairment, hearing impairment and physical disability, to experience the difficulties encountered by the disabled and chronically ill in community life through which to improve the public’s awareness of the disabled.
