Cyberport Career Fair 2023 - “Kickstart Your Tech Career”
LSCM is a Government Funded R&D Centre always looking for right persons to fill our job posts. Between 24th and 25th March 2023, Cyberport had organized a Career Fair with 80 participants including this Centre to meet job seekers. LSCM was very happy to meet new talents and provided them answers upon enquiries regarding our job openings as well as helping them to explore the feasibility of developing and growing their I&T career.

Delegation Visit from Greater Bay Area Group
On 1 March 2023, LSCM received a group of delegates from the Greater Bay Area Group. The LSCM representatives introduced the Centre’s latest technologies to the guests, such as the AIoT Herbal Picking and Delivery System for Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital, Tele-Control Warehouse Stacker Using 5G, Virtual Reality (VR) System for Strategic Operation Training, MaxBot and more.

Delegation Visit from Chinese Academy of Sciences (Guangzhou)
On 16 February 2023, the representatives from the Chinese Academy of Sciences (Guangzhou) visited LSCM. The guests and the LSCM team exchanged views and ideas on technology development and had a fruitful discussion on how the HK-Zhuhai Trade Facilitation Platform (eTFP) and e-SmartPort Platform (eSPP) developed by LSCM could facilitate cross-border logistics and trade.

Interacted with the public with innovative technology in Police Technival
LSCM had participated in the Police Technival which was organized by the Police Information and Communications Technology Society on 12 February and showcased Maxbot to the audience. An interactive technology game was designed to boost participants' awareness of innovation. Mr. Chow Yat Ming, Joe, PMSM, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Management), Hong Kong Police Force, also visited LSCM booth to explore the Centre’s technologies and application.

Mr Li Chong, Deputy Mayor of the Zhuhai Municipal People's Government visited LSCM
Mr Li Chong, Deputy Mayor of the Zhuhai Municipal People's Government, and other government officials and representatives from the logistics and trade related sectors from the Mainland visited LSCM on 3 February 2023 to explore the Centre’s latest technologies and exchanged their views towards the development of technologies for logistics and trade with the LSCM team.
During the visit, Mr Simon Wong, Chief Executive Officer of LSCM, introduced the Centre’s latest technologies to the guests, including the Electronic Wristband and Monitoring System for Hong Kong’s “StayHomeSafe” Home Quarantine Support Solution, RFID Device (Two-piece Device for Tolling Application), a series of robotics technologies, as well as Virtual Reality (VR) technologies, etc.

LOGTECH Expo 2022
The Expo aims to provide one-stop logistics technology solutions and information on the government funding schemes for local logistics SMEs to boost their competitiveness and productivity. Combining exhibition and demonstration of the best logistics industry practice and sharing of useful information on funding schemes, including the Pilot Subsidy Scheme for Third-party Logistics Service Providers, the Expo will enable logistics SMEs to keep abreast of the latest technological trends of the sector and encourage their adoption of advanced logistics technologies with government funding support.
