The LSCM R&D Centre was proud to demonstrate the enabling technologies for the elderly to Dr Lisa Warth and Dr Anjana Bhushan from the World Health Organization (WHO) while they visited Clague Garden Estate on 30 Oct 2014.  Our Chief Executive Officer, Mr Simon Wong, introduced the LSCM’s technologies to the WHO reps, as well as Prof Alfred Chan, BBS, JP, Chairman of Elderly Commission and Dr Cheung Moon Wah, General Manager (Elderly Services) of Hong Kong Housing Society, and the guests were excited about how RFID improves quality of life of seniors.

On 30thJuly, the LSCM R&D Centre received a delegation visit from both HKU and Fudan University. The visitors were introduced with LSCM’s latest R&D harvest by our Business Development team. Besides the presentations, the delegates got deeper understanding on the technologies and projects through the miniatures and interactive demonstrations in our showroom. They showed lots of interest in the role and operation of the LSCM R&D Centre as well as applications of RFID in different trade sectors. They discussed and shared different points of view actively. The discussion on the application of RFID was fruitful.

On 9th May, the LSCM R&D Centre received a delegation visit from Hong Kong Trade Development Council and Xiamen Logistics and Supply Chain Management Association. Our Business Development Manager, Mr Stephen Wai, presented the Centre’s latest technologies and projects.  Among all, the delegates   were most interested in the indoor location tracking system.

Led by Miss Janet Wong, Hon Frankie Yick and his office’s members visited the LSCM R&D Centre on 12th Mar.  Mr Simon Wong, Chief Executive Officer of the Centre, presented the Centre’s latest technological development with on-site demonstration.  The guests were impressed by the technological achievements and their contribution to the industry development.

On 16th Jan, the LSCM R&D Centre received a delegation visit from Thailand’s Department of Primary Industry and Mines. 14 visitors were shown LSCM's recent R&D endeavors and projects by our Business Development team, before being introduced to the demonstrations of recent projects in our showroom. Among all the projects undertaken by LSCM R&D Centre, the delegates were most interested in the E-Lock enabling technology and Indoor and Outdoor Location Tracking System.

The LSCM R&D Centre hosted a visit for the key members of Occupational Safety & Health Council and professionals in the relative field on 9 Jan. The Centre’s CEO, Mr Simon Wong, showed the guests how our technologies can be adapted for management of safety in construction fields, as well as operation management and monitoring.
