Around 40 representatives from SIE Fund visited LSCM on 8 June2018. This delegation visit aimed to learn more about innovative technology regarding health and community. First of all, our Centre CEO Mr Simon Wong had a brief introduction on the Centre’s major technology-focused areas. In addition to technology regarding health and community, the Centre also presented the technologies in Government and Public Sector and Robotic and Automation to our guests.

LSCM team was honored to be invited to attend the Reception for Awardees of 46th International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva. LSCM has won two gold and two silver medals in the invention exhibition, including an Ultra Wideband Activity Monitoring System and Video Analytics for Resource Management.  

Delegates from Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD), led by Ms Michelle LI Mei-sheung JP, Director of LCSD, visited LSCM on 23 April 2018. Mr Simon Wong, CEO of LSCM, had a brief introduction of our Centre and showcased different Community, Government and Public Sector technologies to our guests. They also discussed the future cooperation opportunities between LCSD and LSCM.

LSCM participated in International ICT Expo 2018 from 13 to 16 April, which was organised by Hong Kong Trade Development Council (TDC). Under the theme "Smart City: The Way of the Future," LSCM showcased “Follow-Me” Robots & Platooning Technology, Robotic Effector System for Label Affixing, Ultra-Wideband Technology for Logistics Applications and RFID Blind Cane System

Financial Secretary Paul Chan Mo-po visited the LSCM R&D Centre on 13 April 2018! Accompanied by Ms Annie Choi, Commissioner for Innovation and Technology, LSCM CEO Simon Wong and the team, together with collaborative partners, introduced LSCM technologies to the FS.
