Hong Kong R&D Centre for Logistics and Supply Chain Management Enabling Technologies (LSCM R&D Centre) invites applications for research and development projects from time to time in the following technology focus areas:
(i)	RFID Hardware and Systems, special focus will be placed on:
IC Technologies for RFID Readers and Tags Antenna and Packaging Technologies for RFID Tags Sensor-Based Device / Systems
(ii)	Networking and Infrastructure Technologies, special focus will be placed on:
Logistics and Supply Chain Management Standardization Intra and Inter-Enterprise Enablement Platforms and Middleware for RFID, Logistics and Supply Chain Management Applications Technologies for Logistics and Supply Chain Management Infrastructures RFID and Logistics and Supply Chain Management Technology Testing, Benchmarking and Solution Demonstration Centres
(iii)	Applications and Decision Support Technologies, special focus will be placed on:
Manufacturing - RFID Technologies for Production Process Management and Manufacturing Control Logistics - Modeling and Analytics Applications for Logistics and Supply Chain Management Retail/Tourism - RFID-Based Intelligence and Decision Support Systems Health and Medicine - RFID-Enabled Asset Control in Clinical Management Government - Cross-Border Logistics and Customs Clearance
(iv)	Technology and Market Intelligence Study

Logistics and Supply Chain MultiTech R&D Centre (LSCM) is Hong Kong’s leading Centre of technology research and development (R&D) across numerous sectors, both public and private. Facilitating Innovation Across Multiple Industries

To promote economic growth through heightened efficiency, LSCM has spurred the development of numerous cutting-edge technologies, including supply chain technology, robotics technology for logistics, and an AIoT Chinese Medicine dispensing and delivery system. These projects were undertaken to not only enhance efficiency, but also to provide effective solutions for the ageing problems across multiple industries in Hong Kong.

LSCM has a wealth of case studies in our database. These range from sophisticated virtual reality training modules to secure E-Lock system and E-Cheque Wallet applications, and many more. Our case studies showcase the impact of technology deployment on different sectors, demonstrating how a seemingly simple idea can transform the entire industry operations.
