Gerontech and Innovation Expo cum Summit (GIES) 2022

Jointly hosted by the Government of the HKSAR and the Hong Kong Council of Social Service, and co-organised with the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation, the GIES was the largest gerontechnology public education event in Hong Kong which provided a platform for stakeholders to discuss and form collaboration for broader adoption of gernotechnology.

At the Expo, LSCM showcased a number of the Centre’s latest gerontechnology. Visitors were attracted to the LSCM booth to experience and learn about the Tele-Practice Platform System, Follow-me Robot, Robo-9, Elderly Lifter, 3D LiDAR Bed Monitoring System and Maxbot etc.

Logistics and Supply Chain MultiTech R&D Centre (LSCM) is Hong Kong’s leading Centre of technology research and development (R&D) across numerous sectors, both public and private. To promote economic growth through heightened efficiency, LSCM has spurred the development of numerous cutting-edge technologies, including supply chain technology, robotics technology for logistics, and an AIoT Chinese Medicine dispensing and delivery system. These projects were undertaken to not only enhance efficiency, but also to provide effective solutions for the ageing problems across multiple industries in Hong Kong.

LSCM has a wealth of case studies in our database. These range from sophisticated virtual reality training modules to secure E-Lock system and E-Cheque Wallet applications, and many more.
