Deep Sea Expedition Open Day & Exhibition
On 1 December 2023, LSCM staff attended the ‘Deep Sea Expedition Open Day & Exhibition’ with a valuable tour to the “Shen Kuo Research Vessel” at Ocean Terminal, Tsim Sha Tsui. The tour provided a unique opportunity to witness scientific exploration firsthand and was fascinating to see the cutting-edge equipment and technology used by the researchers to study marine life and the ocean ecosystem. Colleagues are impressed by the dedication and passion of the scientists on board, who were eager to share their work and answers to questions. It was truly inspiring to see their commitment to understanding and preserving the oceans.
The crew members were friendly to every visitor to ensure that everyone had a great experience. Such an event was well-organized and smoothly run. The “Shen Kuo Research Vessel” tour gave a deeper appreciation for the wonders of the ocean and the importance of scientific research. It was a truly eye-opening experience which is worthy to anyone interested in the mysteries of the deep sea. An unforgettable experience for us on marine research.
