Ms. Cindy Ng joined Hactl in 1990, and held a series of increasingly senior IT-related posts leading to her appointment as General Manager of Information Services in 2012. In 2014, she was promoted to the position of Executive Director - Information Services, with ultimate responsibility for the strategic planning and delivery of IT services within Hactl. In this post, she has played a key role in driving Hactl’s information services development, as well as spearheading the creation of business and infrastructure solutions.
Ms. Ng has over 30 years’ experience in Information Technology, with a strong focus on the logistics sector. During her career at Hactl, the leading independent cargo handler in Hong Kong, Ms. Ng has participated in a number of major projects including terminal automation programmes at both Kai Tak and Chek Lap Kok, and development of Hactl’s industry-leading COSAC-Plus community cargo management system and its LCS-Plus system, which controls its major automated handling systems.
Ms. Ng is a graduate of the University of Toronto, and received her Master of Business Administration degree from the Hong Kong University of Science & Technology. She has been a Council Member of the Hong Kong Computer Society from 2015-2017, and currently the Executive Member of the CIO Board. Ms. Ng is a strong supporter of the local logistics community, sharing professional advice through her membership of various advisory panels.
