Ms Cally Chan is a distinguished leader in the technology industry, currently serving as Court Member of Hong Kong University of Science & Technology (HKUST). She was General Manager of Microsoft Hong Kong and Macau (MSHK) since 2017 for eight years.
With over 30 years of experience in business and information technology (IT), Cally is passionate about driving digital transformation and diversity. She is the Board of Director of HKUST Redbird Innovation Fund, Member of Transport and Logistics Bureau’s Transport Advisory Committee, and Member of The Government of the HKSAR’s Human Resources Planning Committee. She is passionate about driving digital transformation while championing diversity in the IT sector. She is the Founding Chairwoman of the FACE Club (Female, Attract, Connect, and Engage) under the Hong Kong Computer Society, aimed at empowering women in the tech industry. She was the 1st female General Manager in Microsoft and Hewlett Packard. Her dedication to inclusivity is also reflected in her roles on various committees and boards, where she influences significant policy decisions related to technology and education in Hong Kong.
Recognizing her significant contribution to Hong Kong's innovation and technology ecosystem, Cally was awarded Beta Gamma Sigma HKU Chapter Honoree, Visionary Women Award, Bazaar at Work, Medal of Honour in 2023.
