Detachable Follow-me Robot The Detachable Follow-Me Robot adopts lidar technology, combined with a microcontroller, which enables it to follow the operator and assist in transporting heavy and bulky items. Automatic collision avoidance technology is deployed for the robot to effectively prevent collisions during operation. Its detachable carrier design also accommodates various applications, reducing the costs while enhancing the robot’s versatility. Additionally, implementing the drive wheel lifting mechanism allows for easy manoeuvrability even in narrow spaces. This solution has won a Bronze Medal in the 50th International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva.
