In view of the ageing population in Hong Kong and the difficulties of the elderly and people with disabilities in obtaining healthcare services in person, LSCM has developed the Tele-practice Platform System to facilitate the provision of remote healthcare and rehabilitation services, and collaboration among different services providers, NGOs and therapists. 

The Tele-practice Platform is a cloud-based system designed to provide support to different service users. It enables the therapists to remotely deliver their services, such as assessment, training, case follow-up and evaluation. The platform provides convenience to the service users in obtaining the services as they do not need to go to the rehabilitation centres in person.

The platform also supports the “Medical-social Collaboration” initiative promoted by the Government of the HKSAR to offer better healthcare services to the service users.
