Delegation visit from Tin Shui Wai Hospital and Hospital Authority

On 19 August 2022, LSCM received a delegation from the Tin Shui Wai Hospital and Hospital Authority. The LSCM representatives introduced the Centre’s latest technologies to the guests, such as the 3D LiDAR Bed Monitoring System, AIoT Herbal Picking and Delivery System for Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital, and the Virtual Reality (VR) System for Strategic Operation Training, etc. They explored how the gerontechnology and healthcare related technologies could enhance their work efficiency.

LSCM’s representatives introduced the features of the 3D LiDAR Bed Monitoring System to the guests. AIoT Herbal Picking and Delivery System for Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital was demonstrated to the guests during the visit.

Members from the Chinese Manufacturers’ Association of Hong Kong (CMA) visited Cyberport on 5 September 2022. During the visit, LSCM’s representatives introduced the work and latest initiatives of the Centre to the guests. The guests were delighted to know more about LSCM and explored collaboration opportunities.

Delegation visit from The Hong Kong Opto-Mechatronics Industries Association (HKOMIA)

LSCM received a delegation from the members of The Hong Kong Opto-Mechatronics Industries Association (HKOMIA) on 28 October 2022. At the visit, LSCM’s representatives introduced the Centre’s latest projects and demonstrated a number of technologies to the guests, such as the Deliverbot, Tele-Control Warehouse Stacker Using 5G, Virtual Reality (VR) System for Strategic Operation Training and MaxBot, etc. The guests were especially interested in LSCM’s robotics technologies.

The guests explored how the MaxBot could help to enhance efficiency and productivity in workplaces. The guests experienced the Virtual Reality (VR) System for Strategic Operation Training during the visit.

Delegation visit from Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group

On 2 December 2022, the representatives from the Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group visited LSCM. A series of LSCM technologies were demonstrated to the guests, such as the Maxbot, Tele-control Warehouse Stackers Using 5G and Follow-me Robot, etc.

Delegation visit from the Hong Kong E-Commerce Logistics Association (HKELA) and Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce Young Executives Club (HKGCC YEC)

A delegation of representatives from the Hong Kong E-Commerce Logistics Association (HKELA) and Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce Young Executives Club (HKGCC YEC) visited LSCM on 6 December 2022 to explore business opportunities and to learn more about the latest logistics technologies. The LSCM team demonstrated different technologies developed by the Centre to the guests, such as the Virtual Reality (VR) System for Strategic Operation Training , Tele-control Warehouse Stackers Using 5G, and Heavy Duty Autonomous Guided Vehicles (AGV), etc.

Mr Simon Wong, Chief Executive Officer of LSCM, introduced the latest projects of the Centre to the guests. The guests were interested in the Virtual Reality (VR) System for Strategic Operation Training.
