To call on everyone to work together to drive the growth of the I&T sector , Prof SUN Dong, Secretary for Innovation, Technology and Industry, The Government of the HKSAR, together with Mr Kevin CHOI, Permanent Secretary for Innovation, Technology and Industry, and Ir Tony WONG, Commissioner for Digital Policy, visited LSCM to encourage everyone in the LSCM team to exercise the right to vote at the 2025 Legislative Council General Election, joining hands with the industry to foster the development of Innovation and technology in Hong Kong.

On 1 December 2025, LSCM had the pleasure of hosting a delegation visit from the representatives in the trade sector of the United States and Canada, organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council. During the visit, the overseas guests explored how the Port Community System (PCS) and Electric Power Assist Trolley could enhance the competitiveness of the maritime, port, logistics and trade industries.

The LSCM briefing session provided the overseas guests with valuable information about Hong Kong’s strong I&T developments. The guests were excited to learn about the homegrown innovative technology in Hong Kong, with many of them actively shared their insights and experiences. The guests were truly intrigued by our innovations and the impact they have on enhancing efficiency and strengthening Hong Kong’s international competitiveness. The sharing between the Hong Kong teams and the guests fostered a productive dialogue, enabling the guests to understand Hong Kong’s role and opportunities in technology R&D.
