Belt and Road Summit 2025

Organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), the Belt and Road Summit 2025 was held on 10 – 11 September 2025, serving as a key international platform for business collaboration along the Belt and Road.

At the event, LSCM showcased the Port Community System (PCS), explaining to the visitors how it could support smarter and more connected logistics operations, thereby enhancing the competitiveness of the industry and Hong Kong's status as an international maritime centre.


MOU Signing Ceremony between LSCM and Hygon Information Technology Co., Ltd.

The launch ceremony of the joint Innovation Laboratory developed by LSCM and Hygon Information Technology Co., Ltd. was held on 21 October 2025. At the event, the two organisations also signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for collaboration. Both organisations are committed to leveraging their respective technologies and expertise to enhance the information security in Hong Kong.

InnoCarnival 2025

The InnoCarnival 2025 organised by Innovation and Technology Commission (ITC) on 18 - 26 October 2025 provided the public with an opportunity to enjoy a wide range of I&T-related interactive and educational activities. This year, LSCM designed three interactive activities for the event which attracted the participation of many visitors.

A mini basketball shooting game was designed with LSCM’s Maxbot. The participants were required to shoot the mini basketball into a moving hoop. And another interactive game required the participants to pilot a drone to complete a designated route within limited time to showcase the concept of low-altitude economy. Besides, the Personalised Chatbot for the Elderly developed by LSCM was also introduced to the public, demonstrating how innovation and technology could enhance the emotional well-being of the seniors.

LSCM’s booth was one of the most popular highlights at the event, demonstrating the emerging technologies in an interactive and interesting way.

The visitors enjoyed the mini basketball shooting game designed with LSCM's Maxbot. The visitors explored the concept of low-altitude economy through participating in the interactive game with drone.

GS1 Hong Kong Summit 2025

The GS1 Hong Kong Summit 2025, held on 28 October 2025, aimed to boost the competitiveness of Hong Kong enterprises through driving digitalisation. At the Summit, LSCM showcased the Port Community System (PCS) which was designed and developed to foster the digital transformation of the port community and enhance cross-sector information interconnectivity.

 Ir Dr Venus Lun, Special Project Director, LSCM, delivered a presentation titled “The Application of Port Community System in the Logistics Industry” at the event. In the presentation, she introduced the key functions of the PCS and encouraged the industry’s continued support for its development and implementation.

Eco Expo Asia 2025

In LSCM’s first participation in the Eco Expo Asia 2025 co-organised by the Environment and Ecology Bureau of the Government of the HKSAR and Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) on 28 – 31 Oct 2025, the latest green technologies of the Centre were showcased. 

The theme of the event was “Green Innovations for Carbon Neutrality”, aiming to promote green innovations and foster the adoption of green technologies by different sectors.  LSCM showcased the Air-Conditioning Water Dripping Inspection System, Outdoor IoT Sensing Network and Data Management Platform for Tree Management and the project “Protecting the Ecological Environment in Construction Areas with an AloT System” at the exhibition. These technologies were developed to assist the industry in improving efficiency and enhancing sustainability.

During the event, the members of the Environmental Campaign Committee, and Environment and Conservation Fund, as well as other guests from the Chinese Mainland and overseas, visited the LSCM booth to learn about the showcased technologies and the Centre’s latest R&D initiatives in assisting the industry in enhancing sustainability.

The visitors were interested in the Outdoor IoT Sensing Network and Data Management Platform for Tree Management which is used to monitor the tree stability to assess the potential risk of tree collapse. A lot of enquiries were received about the Air-Conditioning Water Dripping Inspection System on how it could support the inspection of water dripping cases.

China Hi-Tech Fair 2025

The China Hi-Tech Fair (CHTF) 2025, featuring the latest technologies in Hong Kong and in the Chinese Mainland, took place on 14 -16 November 2025 in Shenzhen.

At the Fair, LSCM’s representatives introduced to the visitors the Port Community System (PCS), which was designed and developed to foster cross-border trade and logistics, and also provided them with the latest updates about other smart city and robotics technologies developed by the Centre.
