Ms Mable CHAN, Secretary for Transport and Logistics, and her team visited the Port Community System (PCS) Control Centre on 23 June 2026.

During the visit, Mr Simon WONG, Chief Executive Officer of LSCM, briefed Secretary Mable on the system’s key features in enhancing supply chain transparency, as well as securing cross-enterprise and multimodal cargo data sharing.  He highlighted how the use of blockchain technology could help verify cargo data and the authenticity of shipments, equipping the PCS with trusted data for the industry to facilitate business operations.

Secretary Mable and the LSCM team also exchanged insights on the future development of the PCS and shared ideas on driving industry growth with innovations and technology.

The representatives of Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province and Hong Kong Electronics & Technologies Association visited LSCM on 25 June 2026 to explore the latest trend of cross-border collaboration in technology development and enhancement in the supply chains.

At the visit, the guests learned about LSCM’s cutting-edge technologies including the Automated Concrete Cube Testing System, Electronic Power Assist Trolley System, Virtual Reality Training System for Strategic Operations and Tele-practice Platform System. The guests and the LSCM team exchanged their views and ideas on how innovative technology could enhance the competitiveness of the Greater Bay Area in international trade and bring about new opportunities.
