The Hong Kong Institute for Public Administration organised a visit to LSCM for a group of  government officials from Shenzhen on 29 May 2025. The guests exchanged their views and ideas towards the smart city development and technology application in Hong Kong and the Mainland.

During the visit, the LSCM team introduced and demonstrated the Centre’s latest R&D projects to the guests, such as the Automated Concrete Cube Testing System, AIoT Herbal Picking and Delivery System for Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital,  Electronic Power Assist Trolley System and Virtual Reality Training System for Strategic Operations, etc. The guests learned about how these technologies could enhance the industry efficiency and foster digital transformation in Hong Kong.
