Delegation Visit from Leisure and Cultural Services Department

Led by Ms Michelle LI Mei-sheung, JP, Director of Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD), delegates visited LSCM on 23 April 2018. Mr Simon Wong, CEO of LSCM, introduced the Centre's development and showcased different technologies for serving the Community, Government and Public Sectors. They also discussed the future cooperation opportunities between LCSD and LSCM.

Delegates from LCSD learned about the technologies for serving the Community Sector.

Our team demonstrated the new project idea to Ms Michelle LI Mei-sheung JP.

Delegation Visit from Young Members Committee (YMC) of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE)

LSCM received a delegation visit from HKIE-YMC on 24 March 2018. Our Director, Mr Anthony Kwok introduced LSCM Technology Overview to 20 YMC members. Followed by a showcase of different technologies to the visitors, including “Follow-Me” Robots and Platooning Technology, RFID Blind Cane Navigation System, Fall Detection System, Anti-Wandering RFID Gate System, MMWave Technology and Virtual Reality Cave.

The young engineers were particularly interested in Robotics and RFID related technologies.

Delegation Visit from Towngas

Representatives from The Hong Kong and China Gas Company Limited (Towngas) visited LSCM on 1 February 2018. The visit started with an introduction by our CEO, Mr Simon Wong on the Centre’s major technology-focused areas. The Centre also presented our latest technologies to the guests.

Delegation Visit from Pine Care Group

On 9 January 2018, representatives from Pine Care Group visited LSCM. Our CEO, Mr Simon Wong, introduced the Centre's latest technologies related to health and community to the guests including fall detection system, location tracking system, anti-wandering RFID gate system, etc.. Facing the problem of labour shortage in elderly care industry, we hope that technology adoption could help to enhance efficiency in the Elderly centre.
