LSCM Logistics Summit Generated Great Ideas and Opportunities

The previously held LSCM Logistics Summit 2017, the Centre’s annual signature event, was a great success. The event gathered numerous delegates together to discuss and share the valuable insights. In the summit we deployed the RFID Event Attendance Monitoring Management System, which is developed by the Centre, to monitor the attendance rate of participants. The system consists of a low-cost, easy–to-install RFID enabled badge and reader. By using this real time system, we were able to learn more about the participant’s mobility and visiting statistics. Being impressed by its performance and benefits, HKTDC adopted the system in the Asian Logistics and Maritime Conference 2017 to monitor the event attendance rate.

The movable UHF RFID reader with adjustable antenna array system can be placed at the entry and anywhere in the event hall to monitor the attendance status anytime.

WE HAVE A NEW LOOK!

After months of hard work, we are delighted to officially announce the launch of our revamped website.

Our goal with this new website is to provide our visitors an easier way to learn about the Centre’s solutions and services, and also to allow the visitor to conduct not only project searches but technology, systems and industry specific searches.

Amongst the new features the site contains integrated social media buttons for Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and Instagram to foster dynamic communication with the industries. We will be constantly updating our content with helpful information, articles, newsletters, company announcements and activities.

We hope you find the new website more user-friendly and informative; we worked hard to make sure it contains valuable information to assist you with your needs for innovation and technology.
