QIESC Delegation Visit led by the The Hong Kong and China Gas Company Limited

 

On 3 November, a 30-member delegation of Quality Improvement and Experience Sharing Convention (QIESC) organised by The Hong Kong and China Gas Company Limited visited the Centre. The delegation was impressed with the presentation given by Dr Frank Tong, Director, Research & Technology, LSCM R&D Centre, for introducing the Centre’s technologies. They also exchanged views on the latest technological developments and initiatives for the quality services in Hong Kong.

Members from MTR Corporation Limited, Vitasoy International Holdings Limited, Pfizer Corporation Hong Kong Limited, Fuji Xerox (HK) Ltd., CLP Power Hong Kong Limited, New World Development Company Limited, The Hong Kong and China Gas Company Limited, and the Knowledge Management and Innovation Centre of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University visited the Centre for knowledge and experience sharing.
 
Delegation from Hangzhou Municipal Development and Reform Committee and Wuhan Science and Technology Bureau

 

The Centre received a delegation visit of Chinese officials from the Hangzhou Municipal Development and Reform Committee and Wuhan Science and Technology Bureau respectively on 17 November. The officials were introduced with the Centre and its latest research deliverables and achievements, and a tour to the Centre’s technology showroom. They were especially interested in the research projects with RFID technology.

Delegation from Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps

 

On 25 November, the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps took a delegation visit to the LSCM R&D Centre. Mr Stephen Wai, Senior Manager, Business Development, LSCM R&D Centre, introduced the advantages brought by Electronic Product Code (EPC) / Radio-frequency Identification (RFID) technologies to the guests and introduced  the Centre’s projects such as item finding systems, patient tracking solutions (indoor and outdoor) and E-Lock technologies. The guests showed great interest in our interactive and sociable innovations.
