5th Asia-Pacific Food Safety International Conference (APFSIC)

The APFSIC 2021 organised by the Food Safety Consortium of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University was held on 27-28 January 2021 in a virtual format. In the conference, Mr Simon Wong, CEO of LSCM, introduced our technologies deployed in the Universal Community Testing Programme (UTCP) which are also suitable for enhancing food safety. In the panel discussion, Mr Wong and other speakers exchanged their views and knowledge about the latest trends and development of food safety technologies.

The speakers discussed how technologies and innovations could enhance the management of food supply chain and food safety in the panel discussion.

Joint Webinar Series: 5G Applications for the Logistics and Transport Industry

Organised by The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport in Hong Kong (CILT), the Joint Webinar Series with the theme of “5G Applications for the Logistics and Transport Industry” aims to enhance the participants’ understanding of 5G technology and application. The first webinar titled “The importance of 5G technology in Logistics industry” was held on 3 March 2021. In the webinar, Mr Simon Wong, CEO of LSCM, gave a presentation about the application of 5G related technologies in the logistics and supply chain industry.

The Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce (HKGCC) Shipping & Transport Committee Meeting

The HKGCC Shipping & Transport Committee Meeting took place on 28 January 2021. Mr Simon Wong, CEO of LSCM, was invited to speak about the latest technologies for the logistics & transport sector at the meeting. He also shared his insights on the opportunities that lie ahead with the advancement of technology.
