• Visit of Senior Representatives from the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation

 

The Hon Mrs Fanny Law, GBS, JP, Chairperson of Board of Directors and Mr Allen Ma, Chief Executive Officer of the Hong Kong Science & Technology Parks Corporation visited the LSCM R&D Centre on 22 December 2014 to exchange views on Hong Kong’s latest technology development.

Mr Simon Wong, Chief Executive Officer of the LSCM R&D Centre, introduced the development of the Centre’s core competencies in logistics and supply chain related technologies to the guests. The guests were impressed by LSCM’s innovative ideas and inventions, and affirmed the Centre’s contribution to Hong Kong.

• Mainland Delegates Visit

 

The Hong Kong Productivity Council organised a delegation visit comprised Mainland officials and industry players on 5 February 2015. We gave a presentation about the Centre’s five main R&D focus areas along with some distinguish projects, which are:

  1. Infrastructure Information Technology System
  2. Internet-of-Things (IoT) and RFID Technology
  3. Location-based Service (LBS) Technology
  4. Logistics and Supply Chain Analytics and Applications, and
  5. Supply Chain Security (Authentication / Logistics Security)
Mr Stephen Wai, Senior Manager, Business Development introduced the Centre's research technologies to the Mainland delegation group
